Hour of Code
This video shows how we should learn to code. It also has some famous people talking about computer programming and why they should do it, like Steve Jobs, Obama and some sports athletes. Apparently, learning how to program is something beneficial for nowadays. Technology is something new and keeps on growing, and computer programming is also something important to use in such a deal. I really feel that it is encouraging to see these people do such a thing and try their best to actually get people motivated to try computer programing. It's pretty cool.

Draw Background
It was kind of hard to draw my background because I took a lot of time with the character in the background and the buildings. I was also trying to make the Great Wall of China so it was not easy to make. I even took a whole week to making this. I hope that I can do the hidden objects more faster than the background. I really like the outcome of my background and I cannot wait for the finished game. I hope it will be better than my last hidden object game from last year. I'm really trying to work hard.

Play to Learn (Hidden Objects)
What kind of ideas did I get for my game? Well, to make a hidden object game I'd like to make it interesting and use many things in the Hidden Objects list, and do many things I can to make the game good. I would like to make this game about a topic that many would like, such as music or other type of topics.

Play to Learn
Let's Save the Animals Game
2. What was the Learning goal/topic of the game?
The topic of the game was to save the animals that have been mistreated by their owner or have never had a home or shelter to live in. This game was showing how we could help those animals and decrease the number of animals without a home to have a home.
3.Was the game fun to play? Why or why not?
This game was not that fun to play. You really didn't get to do much for the game and didn't get to move the character or either do much.
4.Did the game do a good job of teaching the topic, why or why not?
It kind of did, but, I felt like it needed a bit more info about how to really save the animals that are being stranded or have no home at all.
Brokeville
2. What was the Learning goal/topic?
The topic of the game was to figure out how to save enough money when you are super broke. It'll teach you how to truly save yourself money and how to deal with such a hard time.
3.Was the game fun to play?
It was alright since we could chose what we wanted to use or do in order to keep us alive. It was pretty interesting, but not much fun, really.
4. Did the game do a good job pf teaching the topic?
It really didn't that much, but it was a good game otherwise.
A Messenger's Passage
2. What was the Learning goal/topic?
The topic was about the War of Austria's succession. It somehow even included some facts in the game about what had happened in those times.
3.Was the game fun to play?
It was pretty fun to play and I kind of liked this game. I got to do alot in the game, like move the character around.
4. Did the game do a good job of teaching the topic?
The game didn't teach the topic very seriously, but it did include some information about the War of Austria. I guess it was pretty off topic, but was a good game anyway.

Getting Help
So if I were stuck on something like a project and needed help, I would ask for my friend's or classmate's help, so that they can explain to me how to do things. And it would be vice versa. I would also explain to my classmate's or friends how to exactly do things.

Kid's Science Challenge
Game 1:
It is called the Zero Waste Game. It taught me about how much waste we have used and how we should reduce that number. It kind of did, although it was pretty tricky to get the right answer since most have to try and guess what it would be. Yes, I guess it was since we had to fix the city in the end, so it wasn't all that bad.
Game 2:
The next game I played was Junk Band Game. It taught me about different sounds and all you had to do was play music in the game. I guess it taught me about how sound travels to our ear so, basically about our hearing sense. This game sort of taught me something I knew, but at least the game was pretty entertaining. It even let you play songs on it.
Game 3:
Finally, the last game I played was Magical Microbes. This game taught me about how microbes play a huge part in our lives. The lesson it taught was what these microbes needed to prosper on. This game did do a good job of telling me what microbes were and what they did and also what they need to keep on living. This game was pretty entertaining and was really fun to play.

Recycling stuff
1. In the video you saw how different materials are recycled?
Well in the video, they basically recycle and they are turned back into the same things or can be used for other things. Like, glass. When it is recycled, it can be turned into a different form and also into glass. It's basically turning it into what it is.
2.Explain how some of these materials are recycled.
People can recycle paper and it will be turned into paper again. Glass, like i mentioned previously, can be recycled and turned into glass. Plastic is recycled by chopping it into smaller pieces and turned into toys and such other things. And tin can be recycled by molding it into a tin can or whatever it was, or can be used in planes and boats.
3. What are some simple ways to recycle?
Simple ways to recycle is to have a recycling bin nearby to recycle things that are of no use, as long as they are made out of paper, plastic, glass, tin and aluminum. Another way could be to use reusable batteries and use reusable containers. And try not to throw so much away.
4. Write down some ideas for creating a cleaner environment at EA Prep.
A way we could recycle in our school could be to have a recycling bin in each class, so we won't have to waste so much paper. And it'd be great if we could use lesser energy, by maybe having a class outside and not wasting energy in a classroom.
